Air travel is the safest mode of travel. Yet, four in ten passengers suffer some form of uneasiness while flying, ranging from mild to extreme anxiety. Fear of flying is an acquired fear and it can be overcome with our scientifically tailored courses.

Our personalised course in an aeroplane simulator is conducted by a domain expert. The simulator based session exposes you to various technical aspects of aviation and the psychology surrounding it, tailored to address the specific causes of your flight anxiety. This is followed by an expert guided flight which reinforces the session with real life experience and practical skills to enable you to fly confidently.

Our mission

Cockpit Vista was conceptualised in the year 2000 and has addressed the flight anxiety concerns of over 2000 air travellers who have attended onsite programs. Our online programs have been helping air travellers worldwide who have no access to such programs nearby. Cockpit Vista has grown over the years as the center of excellence in Asia Pacific region to help fight flight anxiety in air travellers and avoid the onset of anxiety seen commonly in new flyers. Cockpit Vista courses are unique in many ways- most important of which is the well founded scientific basis of our sessions based on "Exposure Therapy".

Wing Commander K Dinesh is a retired Indian Air Force officer and an Indo Pak (Kargil) war veteran with three decades of Aviation experience. He specialised in MiG 21 and Mirage 2000 fighter jets flying for the Indian Air Force. He is an Air Crash Investigator with Aircraft Accident Investigation Board (AAIB), Govt of India. He was an

An aeronautical engineer by qualification, he worked closely with organisations related to flight safety and Aviation Psychology. His breakthrough techniques for overcoming flight anxiety has set apart his course and it's successful outcome. After his assignment with IAF, he founded Cockpit Vista as a formal entity for aviation orientation for passengers with a strong focus on helping air travelers fight their fear of flying. He conducts the course himself and has given wings to thousands of nervous flyers.

He is a proponent of aviation safety through passenger awareness. He conducts fun filled aviation awareness courses with the underlying objective to keep them happy flyers for ever.

In line with his expertise, he conducts safety management workshops for corporate establishments and is a freelance aviation consultant.

He also helps in fine tuning skills amongst pilots, to address issues affecting their well being in air and also on the ground.

Captain Indu Dinesh Nair carries 30 years of military and civil aviation experience. She is presently an Airbus pilot flying as a Senior Captain with Indigo Airlines (India).

She is a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander who is amongst the first few women pilots to be inducted into IAF. She is a war veteran who flew extensively durin

She is a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander who is amongst the first few women pilots to be inducted into IAF. She is a war veteran who flew extensively during the Indo-Pak conflict of 1999 (Kargil War) and in combat roles in many joint military exercises including Operation Parakaram.

She brings in immense value to Cockpit Vista with her vast experience flying five different aeroplanes including the Airbus 320, ATR 72 , military transport plane Antonov AN 32, Kiran trainer jet as well as HPT 32 piston engine plane. She is onboard Cockpit Vista as a patron.
